Soft Washing & Render Cleaning
A low-pressure, surface-safe wash for render, brick, stone and painted walls that lifts algae and green growth without damage. The whole outside of the house, done properly. Free quotes across London.

Graffiti removed from brick, render, stone, shutters and signage across London, with the method matched to the surface so the wall underneath survives.
Graffiti is a surface problem, not a pressure problem. The same tag needs a different approach on soft London stock brick, on painted render, on a powder-coated shutter and on glass, and hitting all of them with a jet wash is how you end up with the outline of the tag etched into the wall, or the paint driven deeper into the brick. We test a small patch first, use a remover suited to both the paint and the surface, and rinse it off at a pressure that surface can take.
We remove graffiti for shops and restaurants, offices, managed residential blocks and homeowners across London. Offensive graffiti gets priority. Send us a photo and the address on WhatsApp and we will tell you how we would tackle it before you book anything.
Brick and natural stone are porous, so spray paint soaks in rather than sitting on top. The remover needs time to work, the rinse has to stay low pressure, and older soft brick sometimes needs two gentle passes, never one aggressive one. Our guide to cleaning brickwork without damaging it explains why a jet wash does so much harm to London stock brick.
Painted render and masonry paint are the awkward ones, because anything strong enough to lift the graffiti can lift the paint under it too. Sometimes the honest answer is that a small, colour-matched repaint of the panel will look better than any amount of cleaning, and we will tell you that before charging you to find out. Metal shutters and doors need removers that will not soften the powder coat, and glass and signage need care so the surface is not scratched. Tags that have been scratched or acid-etched into glass cannot be cleaned off at all.
Some London councils remove graffiti for free, but usually only where it can be seen from a public road or sits on property the council manages, and on the council's own timetable. Graffiti in a private car park or courtyard, on a communal area the council does not manage, or on your own shutters and signage is normally down to the owner.
It is worth checking with your council first. If it is not covered, or you want it gone this week, that is where we come in. Report offensive or threatening graffiti to the police as well.
Tags that stay up tend to attract more, so getting it off quickly matters as much as how it comes off. If the same wall keeps getting hit, anti-graffiti coatings are worth asking about: a sacrificial coating comes off with the next tag and is reapplied, while a permanent one lets new paint be washed straight off. Which suits your wall depends on the surface, and we will talk it through when we see it.
Graffiti removal often sits alongside other exterior work. For walls that are generally dirty as well as tagged, soft washing or cladding cleaning on the same visit leaves an even finish instead of one clean patch. BeforeAfterWe turn up when we say we will, use the right approach for each surface and leave the work looking the way it should.
Not when the method suits the surface. Damage almost always comes from too much pressure or the wrong chemical, which is why we patch test first and rinse at low pressure on brick, stone and render. If a surface is too fragile to clean safely, we tell you before we start.
Most spray paint and marker comes off fully. On very porous stone or old brick a faint shadow can remain after the first clean, and a second pass usually deals with it. Graffiti scratched or etched into glass cannot be cleaned off, because the glass itself has been damaged.
Offensive graffiti goes to the top of the list. Send a photo and the address on WhatsApp and we will come back to you with the earliest slot we have and a price.
Some councils remove graffiti free of charge, usually only when it is visible from a public road or on council-managed property. Private walls, car parks, courtyards and your own shutters are normally the owner's responsibility, so check with your council first and call us if it is not covered.
Yes, most graffiti work is commercial: shopfronts, shutters, car parks, bin stores and communal entrances. We can work out of hours and send a method statement before we start.
